Timothy G. Scanlon is the Assistant Managing Partner at KDG and the Practice Group Leader for the Construction and Real Estate Litigation Department. Since 1997, Mr. Scanlon has represented owners, developers, general contractors, subcontractors, material suppliers, and sureties in complex construction public works and private works disputes, including residential and commercial construction defect claims.  He routinely handles statutory claims involving mechanics liens, payment bonds, and stop payment notices, as well as change order disputes and delay claims.  Mr. Scanlon is a regular speaker for the Kern County Builders Exchange, providing seminars relating to contractor licensing, mechanics liens, bonds, stop notices, and contract interpretation.  Recent projects of note include commercial solar projects, pipeline water transfer projects, California Department of Transportation road improvement projects, and mass action residential defect projects. Tim joined the firm in 1998 after receiving his J.D. from the University of San Francisco School of Law in 1997.
