The law firm of Klein, DeNatale, Goldner, Cooper, Rosenlieb & Kimball, LLP, is pleased to announce that Lisa Holder, partner, has been certified as a specialist in bankruptcy law by the State Bar of California Board of Legal Specialization. Candidates for this certification must pass an examination that focuses on bankruptcy law, must have handled a substantial number of bankruptcy matters, must have taken a certain number of hours of bankruptcy specialty educational programs, and must be approved by a review committee. The certification can be renewed every five years if the specialist takes the required number of specialty educational programs and continues to handle a significant number of bankruptcy matters.
In her bankruptcy practice, Holder has represented trustees in many million-dollar liquidation cases, has led the restructuring of multiple mid-sized businesses and sole proprietorships, and has assisted creditors in navigating the unfamiliar bankruptcy world. Holder is also a sought-after speaker on women in leadership roles.
