KDG Announces New Partners

Jacob L. Eaton has recently been named a partner at KDG. Eaton has been with KDG since he was admitted to the California State Bar in 2006.  He attained his law degree from University of Kentucky College of Law that same year.  Eaton focuses his practice in the area of bankruptcy law and debtor and creditor rights.  Through his practice, he has been instrumental in helping to save local businesses and farms from going out of business. He is fluent in Italian and a member of the American Bankruptcy Institute, Central California Bankruptcy Association and the Kern County Young Lawyers Section of the Kern County Bar Association.  Eaton has been active in the community as a Jamboree Committee member for Boy Scouts of America since 2008. 

  


Terrence T. Egland has also been named a partner at KDG. Egland joined the firm in 2005, focusing his practice on business, bankruptcy and environmental litigation, including debtor, creditor and trustee representation.  He obtained his Juris Doctor from Washington & Lee University School of Law in 2005, where he was editor-in-chief for the Environmental Law Digest.  Before KDG, Egland spent five years as a technical designer for the Boeing Company, where he was involved in the design of their 747-400 passenger jet.  He is a member of the American Bar Association, Federal Bar Association and on the editorial board for the Kern County Bar Association monthly news magazine, RES IPSA Loquitur.
