The KDG bankruptcy department recently obtained approval for a joint Chapter 11 Plan of Reorganization in a complex commercial case involving two related businesses.  The Plan of Reorganization restructures more than 100 secured claims, numerous commercial equipment leases, and a collective bargaining agreement, among other things.  The Plan of Reorganization will allow the restructured businesses to continue to operate and to repay creditors significantly more than they would have received in a liquidation scenario.  The reorganization legal team was led by partner Hagop T. Bedoyan, associate Ian Jinkerson and paralegal Karen Clemans.
