John V. Komar is a partner in the firm’s water and public agency law and business and commercial litigation practice groups. For over 25 years, John has litigated complex disputes across a broad spectrum of industries including manufacturing, software, investment banking and real estate. He has tried numerous cases to verdict in State and Federal courts and to final award in arbitration, including disputes arising from breach of contract, copyright and trademark violations, trade secret theft, fraud, post-merger conduct and failures, violation of shareholder rights, partnership disputes, breach of fiduciary duty, corporate governance failures and other commercial wrongs. He also handles appellate work arising from such matters. As a result of his deep understanding of trial practice, John provides educated guidance at all phases of the litigation process, which allows clients to make informed decisions and obtain favorable outcomes. John is also an expert at dispute resolution and is a certified mediator.
