Dustin Dodgin is a partner in the firm's Business and Commercial Litigation Department and Labor & Employment Department. His multi-disciplinary practice covers business and employment litigation, corporate and real estate transactions, business counseling, construction and real estate litigation, energy law, and government relations. Dustin was selected as a 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, and 2020 Southern California Rising Star by the Super Lawyers magazine.
Dustin handles business litigation and general business and transactional matters for clients in the oil and gas, construction, real estate, healthcare, hospitality, security services, agriculture, transportation, equipment manufacturing and sales, and insurance industries.
In his employment practice, Dustin routinely represents employers in state and federal courts in California, in arbitrations, and before the DLSE, EDD, and the U.S. Department of Labor. He defends employers in private and law enforcement wage-and-hour litigation involving PAGA claims, misclassification, overtime, meal period, and rest break claims, among others. He handles class action lawsuits, single-plaintiff discrimination, harassment, retaliation and wrongful termination actions, and he represents employers in employee embezzlement, trade secret misappropriation, and workplace violence cases.
