Paralegal (Transactional)
We are hiring a paralegal to work in the Transactional department of our
legal practice in the Bakersfield area. Qualified candidates must have
at least five years of paralegal experience, ability to understand and
analyze legal issues, ability to manage client documents, write clearly
and concisely, and be proficient with Excel, Word, Outlook, and Westlaw.
We will only consider candidates with a California paralegal certificate
and a bachelor’s degree. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, this position
will be temporarily remote as a safety precaution.
Responsibilities:

Performing comprehensive legal research using Westlaw.

Preparing and reviewing documents.

Creating reports based on attorney requests.

Working with attorneys on a variety of case filings.

Experienced Legal Secretary (Estate Planning)
Qualified candidates must have at least five years of experience as a legal
secretary, excellent written and verbal communication skills, the ability
to effectively communicate with clients in a polite, professional manner,
and be proficient in MS Word, Excel and Outlook. The position requires
a detail-oriented, resourceful and organized person. Responsibilities
include client intake, document preparation and general secretarial duties.
Transactional Legal Support Clerk
Qualified candidates must have at least two years administrative or clerical experience, strong written (grammar and spelling) communication skills as well as the ability to effectively communicate with clients. Some exposure to the legal field would be preferred. Candidates must also have a familiarity with internet usage involving light research, error-free typing at 50 wpm and proficiency in MS Office. The position requires a resourceful, organized and detail-oriented person. A bachelor's degree is STRONGLY preferred. Human Resources Consultant
Seeking a Human Resources Consultant to provide counsel and training to
our clients in the functional and strategic aspects of benefit administration,
employee relations, training, performance management, onboarding, policy
creation/development/implementation, recruitment/retention, investigation,
termination, workforce restructuring and downsizing, and general employment
law compliance. This position requires the ability to work independently
and allows for a flexible full-time or part-time work schedule.Qualified
candidates will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in Human Resources.
A bachelor’s degree is preferred along with any of the following
certifications: SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, SPHR, PHR. Previous consultative work
