$700,000 Fraud Judgment Not Discharged

In June 2011, Klein DeNatale Goldner's Bankruptcy practice group obtained summary judgment on a complaint it filed on behalf of its client, a creditor in a Chapter 7 case. The debtor attempted to discharge his liability for a state-court judgment, which awarded Klein DeNatale Goldner's client over $700,000 in damages arising from the debtor's fraud. Klein DeNatale Goldner obtained a judgment determining that the entire $700,000 debt was not dischargeable in the debtor's bankruptcy.
